Volunteer Groups

Most of the events that take place at the hospital are limited to patients, families, staff and volunteers. However, the hospital welcomes groups offering on-site activities for patients and families.

One example of a volunteer group activity is the monthly World of Art visit. This unique volunteer group visits once a month with a special presentation and a hands-on art project. On average, 20 patients and family members participate.

The holidays are a popular time when the hospital hosts a variety of visitors. Each year, more than 20 different groups visit during December, offering hands-on projects, dances, music concerts, games and other fun activities for patients and families.

For more information on group volunteer opportunities, download the group volunteer application or contact Clemmie White at (409) 770-6604 or e-mail: cjwhite@shrinenet.org
