Shriners Hospital Open House

The annual Shriners Hospital for Children — Erie “Hospital Day” has been scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2009, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the hospital. Hospital Day, or open house, is an opportunity for the public to tour the state-of-the-art hospital and learn more about the expert children’s orthopedic medical care available at the facility.

An antique car show, health screenings, entertainment and hospital tours are just some of the activities planned for this year’s open house, and all events are free and open to the public. Refreshments, hospital-logo clothing and gift items will be available for purchase.

The antique car show is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the hospital parking lot and musical entertainment is scheduled from 11:15 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
