Family-Centered Care

We recognize that the family plays a vital role in a child's ability to overcome an illness or injury. Our hospital helps the child by involving the family in all aspects of the child's care and recovery.

Our purpose is to provide care to children with orthopaedic problems, burn or spinal cord injuries to help them lead fuller, more productive lives. By promoting the importance of the family and helping it become a stronger support system for the child, Shriners Hospitals for Children can accomplish this purpose more effectively.
