Make-up Clinic

The hospital offers a reconstructive/corrective make-up clinic for patients. A professional make-up artist will provide techniques to soften the impact of scars, even out skin tones and create an overall natural appearance. Please contact the outpatient clinic to set-up an appointment.

Music Therapy

Music therapy is a great way to help children throughout hospitalization. Music therapists use carefully selected music and music activities to address the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of patients and families. Music activities include:

• Listening to music
• Singing
• Playing instruments
• Song writing
• Discussing song lyrics

Children do not need to have music experience to participate in music therapy.

Parent Group

The parent group meets every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the hospital. The group is bilingual and refreshments are served.
